Small – scale plastic molding

The technology of vacuum molding is based on the use of liquid two-component polyurethane, which after mixing solidifies at room temperature in a vacuum chamber in which there is a high-quality mold filling without high pressure.

This allows the use of flexible molds made of silicone or polyurethane for casting plastic products.

Stages of vacuum plastic molding:

3D model creation

A 3D engineering model is required to manufacture a 3D prototype of a product. You can order the creation of a 3D model from us or provide your model, which our specialists will adapt for production free of charge.

Making a master model

Prototype print on 3D printer. After approval, the prototype is processed (to it is applied the required type of surface).

Manufacturing of silicone molds

The master model is placed in the formwork and filled with silicone or polyurethane. The whole structure is placed in a vacuum chamber to obtain high quality silicone molds.

Test casting

To check the quality of the resulting mold, a trial (test) casting is cast.

Serial production launch

After agreement a trial casting with the customer, can be started mass production of the entire batch of products.
