The volunteers came up with the idea of using Italian diving masks to protect medical personnel. A special protective bacteriological filter made in Great Britain must filter the incoming air from the virus molecules.

To connect such a biofilter, it was necessary to make an adapter. The volunteers developed the drawings, where they provided a special check valve made of medical silicone 0.8 mm thick, which prevents the accumulation of exhaled and saturated with carbon dioxide air inside the mask.

In addition, the thoroughness of surface treatment to a completely smooth surface improves the quality of sterilization

The dimensional accuracy and precise fit of the adapter ensures excellent sealing without the need for additional sealing elements.
